John Sharples - Sales Manager

John was born and raised in Kelowna. He spent many of his working years in the retail auto industry.

John has been boating for over 40 yrs and has owned many power boats. In 1975 he started racing sail boats and you will see him out on Okanagan Lake most Sundays in his sailboat 'FlatChat'.

John has been a very active member in the Kelowna Yacht Club for many years and served as Sailing Fleet Captain and on the Board of Directors.

In 2002 John joined Dockside in a sales position and semi-retired in 2008 staying on as our Delivery Captain taking our customers to the lake and orienting them with their new boats. With John's wealth of marine knowledge we are happy to have him join us full time again as our Sales Manager.
