Mercury Product Protection - Platinum
Platinum Benefits
Parts, Accessories, and Labour Coverage - Product Protection provides comprehensive component coverage (including labour) for mechanical and electrical failures caused by a defect in material or workmanship, similar to the standard limited warranty.
Hoist/Haul-Out Allowance
Provides up to $200 per claim occurrence to perform approved repairs to covered product on non-trailerable boats
(26 feet in length or greater).
On Water Tow-In Allowance
Provides up to $200 per claim occurrence toward the cost of on-water towing charges necessary to
perform approved repairs to covered product.
Mercury Accessory Coverage
All Mercury or Quicksilver engine related accessories such as steering, remote controls, and
instrumentation (except propellers) are covered.
Service Under the Plan
You may obtain factory-authorized service at more than 5000 dealers in the United States and Canada.
You are not restricted to the dealer who sold you the plan.
Genuine Factory Replacement Parts
100% Mercury and Quicksilver replacement parts. No "will fit" substitutes.
Transferability
Fully transferable to the subsequent owner.

MPP Platinum is 100% administered by Mercury Marine - this means strong program integrity and
exemplary customer service. It also means the program is preferred by lending institutions.
MPP Platinum offers similar component coverage as the factory warranty - this means peace of mind and
financial protection to your customer. MPP only uses genuine Mercury Precision Parts and labour
is included with a $25 deductible per claim. This maintains product integrity.
MPP Platinum can be transferred to subsequent owners for only $100 per engine - this adds product
value at resale or trade-in time.
The plan provides up to $200 toward hoist/haul out on all boats 26ft or longer and up to $200 in
for approved repairs on covered product (excludes MotorGuide). Again, the benefit of this is additional
financial protection for your customer.
There are over 5,000 authorized and factory trained dealers throughout the United States and
Canada to service MPP Platinum customers. This means they know how to get your customer back
on the water.
