Hello, my name is Mason Rice and I am from Windsor, Ontario. While growing up my family always loved to take us out surfing, tubing and wakeboarding. At a very early age I fell in love with the sport and just being out on the water. I have my Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the Okanagan College and am using the knowledge learned there to help further a career for myself and be an asset to the full team here at Dockside Marine. This passion for the water and technical skills that I have obtained through school, make working at Dockside a perfect fit for myself. My hope is that our customers will enjoy summer here in Kelowna just as much as I enjoy it every season since I have been here. You do life on land, you make memories on the water!
Dale was born and raised in Regina SK where he spent his summers at the beach. His grandfather was one of the first marine mechanics in the area and he spent many hours helping his Dad recover and repair salvage boats. At the age of nine Dale already owned several boats which Dad was teaching him to repair and resell. Dale started with Mercury & Marine in Regina in 1979. In 1988 he opened Thompson Marine as a multiple line dealership that sold new and used boats with full-service facilities specializing in all aspects of gelcoat, metal flake, and prop repairs. It later became Performance Marine which is still a well-respected marine business in SK. In 2000 he sold his business and moved his family to Kelowna where he then joined the sales staff here at Dockside. With Dale’s past experiences he brings his expertise in these many areas to share with our customers. When Dale is not assisting Dockside customers he enjoys fussing over his own boat, restoring International Scouts, and touring the Okanagan on his Harley.
