Dockside Marine Centre Ltd. is the on-the-water marine centre and offers a full service department to meet all of your boating needs from our convenient and central location at the Shelter Bay Marina (Westside of Bennett Bridge) in West Kelowna.
Our service department has more than 120 years of combined experience in the marine industry, servicing all makes and models of power boats, sail boats, jet skis, and trailers. We can handle all of your service needs from summarizing, winterizing, detailing, fibreglass work, hauling your boat, high altitude adjustments, routine maintenance and installing and maintaining all your boating accessories as well as storage for winter.
As a on-the-water marine service centre we can run your boat on the water and put the problems with your boat in a real life situation, rather then running it on a garden hose where problems can get missed. By being on the water and with the ability to lake test your boat allows us to properly diagnose and repair your water craft. We have four service slips in the marina were you can pull it in to park or pick up your boat when servicing.
We also offer personalized services to meet your boating needs including on-the-water lake testing, performance handling set up, boat operation basics, and boat launching service. We also offer rigging and prepping of new boats from the smallest power boat and jet ski to the largest vessel you can launch on lake Okanagan!

What is antifouling?
Regular maintenance of your boat is far more cost-effective than a cure. For this reason, maintaining your boat's antifouling or 'bottom paint' is imperative, particularly where your boat is permanently moored in the water. Antifoul is a specialised paint that protects the hull of your boat from fouling organisms. Without it, your boat will experience increased drag through the water, and your fuel consumption will skyrocket as time goes by (in extreme cases, up to 50% less efficient).
